Toyota . Cylinder ridge in a 2-stroke vs a 4-stroke?

Cylinder ridge in a 2-stroke vs a 4-stroke? Last year I rebuilt the motor in my 1963 tractor, there was a ridge in each of the cylinders that I had to ream out in order to remove the pistons. I had never rebuilt an engine before. I very recently picked up an outboard motor (Evinrude, 25 horse, 1983 model). The head gasket is blown. I've removed the head and felt around within the cylinder. There is no ridge whatsoever that I can feel with my fingers. Do 2 stroke engines have less of a ridge than 4 stroke engines? I'm trying to guesstimate how many hours are on the outboard. Only paid $23 for it, and have spent $60 for a battery, $4 for plugs, $10 for gas/oil, and will spend another $50 for a new head gasket, head top gasket, and thermostat. car insurance.

Did 1977 ford 4x4 customs' have a 3' clearance to the floor pan's when they were stock? My '77 ford custom 4x4 has a 3 foot clearance to the ground from the floor pans with a 29" tire. It seems rather high to me but i do not know of a f-150 high boy. Anyone know if the trucks came being raised up that high of if something has been added to it. The only thing i can see may be a body lift but i do not know if the previous owner did this or if it came that way from the factory. Thank you for any help on this. car insurance.

Toyota . What can I do to get my car fixed? (jiffy lube)?

What can I do to get my car fixed? (jiffy lube)? I went to jiffy lube Monday to get a simple oil change. The oil change was completed I left happy. Tuesday night my check eng light came on but since jiffy lube was closed I decided to back Wednesday. I went there told the guy what happenEd. Needless to say they said sorry something to do with air being left unplugged or something. They fixed so I thought they did. So I left jiffy lube with the engine light off. The light came back on in a few hours. So I went back thrusday. Then they tell me that I am getting a p1135 and p0125 error. They told me to take it to a dealer because they can't fix it. I was late so I left but I plan on going back tomorrow to basically say WTF. Help car insurance.

Toyota . How to Cut Brake Rotors

Its all in the title this article will teach you how to cut brake rotors for your car, using a brake lathe.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
brake lathe

Step by Step :
1
Select a centering cone that fits about halfway through the center hole of hubless rotor or bearing spacer to center the rotor to the spindle. After select two identical clamps that fit the rotor without interfering with the machined surfaces of the rotor.
2
9.Slide one clamp onto lathe shaft, open end out
Slide spring, followed by centering cone.
Slide on the rotor and outer clamp followed by the bushing, spacer, and nut. Tighten nut.
Install damping strap.
3
Adjust the assembly inward toward the lathe body until the cutting blade tips are at the rotor inside machine surface.
Adjust the cutting head so the rotor fits about center between cutting tips.
Move the cutting tips until they meet the rotor and reverse out about one turn.
Adjust the assembly outward away from the lathe body until it clears the outer rotor edge and tighten the nut.
4
Switch on the motor
Move the assembly inwards so that the cutting tip are in on machine surface of the rotor about an inch from the outer edge.
Adjust one cutting tip slowly until it comes in contact with rotor and reverse out about one turn. Turn the machine off.
5
Move the assembly in towards the lathe body adjusting the cutting head until the tips seem to be aligned with the rear of the machines surfaces.
Adjust the cutting tips until they contact the rotor. Set the scales to zero.
Adjust the tips until the scale is at 0.004 inch.
Engage the fast speed on the lathe.
6
When the cutting tips clear the rotor, disengage the drive and move the cutting tips back to the starting point.
2Adjust the cutting tips to 0.002 inches deeper and engage a slow cut.
When the tips clear the rotor disengage the drive
Tips & Warnings
After effectively measuring and machining the rotor it is very import to inspect the rotor for dark spots because this would indicate that the rotor was not cut fully

Toyota . How to Change a Brake Rotor on a Dodge Ram 2500

The front brake rotors on a Dodge Ram 2500 are dual-faced vented rotors. Rotors always have a minimum thickness inscribed into the front of the rotor. They must be checked every time either the pads are being replaced or if they are being turned, due to a warpage situation.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Floor jack
Jack stands
½-inch drive air gun
Set of ½-inch drive sockets
3/8-inch drive ratchet
Set of 3/8-inch drive sockets
Common screwdriver
Set of wrenches
Drip pan

Step by Step :
1
Raise and support the front of the vehicle on the jack stands. Remove the front wheels using the ½-inch drive air gun and the appropriate socket.
2
Place the drip pan under the rotor and caliper. Loosen the brake bleeder screw using a wrench. Spread the brake pads so you can push the caliper piston back into its bore. Insert the common screwdriver between the inside face of the rotor and the brake pad and pry the piston back into the caliper. Tighten the brake bleeder screw.
3
Remove the two bolts holding the caliper to the caliper mounting bracket using the 3/8-inch drive ratchet and socket. Lift the caliper off the rotor and support the caliper so it does not hang by its hose.
4
Remove the caliper-mounting bracket using the 3/8-inch drive ratchet and socket. Remove the rotor by pulling it off the wheel studs.
5
Replace all components in reverse order of removal. Refill the master brake cylinder. Start the engine and pump the brakes 10 times to adjust the front calipers.
Tips & Warnings
Do not attempt to drive the vehicle without pumping the brakes. There will be no brakes until you pump the brakes up.

the bridge, surveying the blue ocean with your binoculars, when suddenly you see an iceberg dead ahead. Instead of running down to the engine room and personally reversing the propellers so that the ship will move backward, you pick up the intercom and call the engine room, saying, "This is the cap tain speaking. Reverse engines!" The person in the engine room hears you and does what's necessary. The ship is saved. In a car, with a crew of one, you're still at the wheel giving orders. But you're giving them to a vehicle that can't hear you. You need a piece of machinery to communicate with other machines. In this case, that piece is your gearshift. By moving the gearshift with your hand, you can tell the transmission what to do. Then the transmission tells the wheels via the driveshaft. With the aid of the drive train, you can not only tell your wheels to go for ward or backward, but you can tell them how fast to go as well. When you step on the accelerator, you compel the engine to produce power, but that 404 Car Insurance 2002 isuzu 253197

power has to get to the wheels in the proper way for the wheels to respond most efficiently. There are ways to convey that extra power to the wheels by controlling how fast they turn in relation to the engine's speed when you're going up a hill, pulling a heavy load, or just trying to overcome inertia and get the car started. So your transmission has more than just forward and reverse gears; it has low and high gears, too. Some transmissions have as many as six forward gears to control power and speed efficiently. (I won't even talk about those huge semis with 14 and more forward gears!) In all cases, the lower gears provide more power at lower speeds. The higher gears provide less power but allow the vehicle to move at higher speeds because the wheels can

Facing the flywheel is the first part of the clutch. This disk-shaped plate is called a clutch disk. When you are not stepping on the clutch pedal, this disk is forced against the flywheel (see Step 4). A coating of friction material causes the two plates to adhere to each other, which forces them to turn at the same speed. 4. Next to the clutch disk is the clutch pressure plate. This mechanism forces the clutch disk against the flywheel or allows it to move away from the flywheel when it is time to change gears. Here's how it does that: • When you step on the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch and disconnect the engine from the transmission, a clutch release arm forces a throwout bearing into the pressure plate's release levers. As a result, the pressure on the clutch disk is released, and the disk can turn independently of the flywheel. 1 7Q Part II: What Makes It Go? • After you move the gearshift to the proper gear, you release the clutch pedal. This movement causes springs in the pressure plate to force the disk against the flywheel again, and both the disk and the flywheel resume spinning together at a new speed.
